À travers la variété de sa programmation, sa dimension pédagogique et son engagement pour la musique contemporaine, le festival des Arcs s’est imposé comme un événement majeur du paysage culturel français. Après Kaija Saariaho l’an passé, c’est Éric Tanguy qui est actuellement en résidence. Il présentera onze de ses œuvres qui, pour chaque concert, seront mises en perspective avec la musique d’un compositeur russe. Du côté des interprètes, David Grimal, Éric Crambes – le directeur artistique, Xavier Gagnepain, Jean-Frédéric Neuberger, l’ensemble 2e2m ou le Fine Arts Quartet, interprèteront des programmes toujours irréprochables. Les artistes présents transmettent leur savoir-faire lors de l’Académie du festival. Ils forment ainsi les interprètes avec qui ils pourront partager la scène dans les années futures. Ajoutons à cela que, dans une volonté de rencontre et de renouvellement du public, tous les concerts sont gratuits.
