Cette édition anniversaire inscrit son projet musical dans le tissu historique et architectural de la région en explorant l’histoire musicale extraordinaire de ses fascinantes cathédrales gothiques. Dès leur édifications, elles abritèrent rapidement une vie musicale à l’échelle de leur grandeur : la première Maîtrise française fut créée à la Cathédrale d’Amiens en 1324. Cette création de la première « école de musique » allait bientôt être suivie par Beauvais, Senlis, Noyon et Saint-Quentin… Plusieurs siècles plus tard, ces hauts lieux maintiennent leur vocation musicale. Parmi les prochains invités du festival, citons en priorité l’ensemble Les Muffatti de Peter van Heygen, l’Amsterdam Baroque Orchestra & Choir de Ton Koopman, le Hanover Band dirigé par Andrew Arthur, les ensembles Capilla Flamenca – Psallentes – Concerto Palatino réunis sous la baguette de Dirk Snellings, l’Ensemble instrumental et vocal de Lausanne de l’irremplaçable Michel Corboz, ou encore Gérard Lesne à la tête de son Il Seminario Musicale dans un programme Vivaldi.
