Théâtre, danse, lecture, théâtre d’objets, musique, clowns, expos… Pendant plus d’un mois, la moitié du territoire de la capitale s’apprête à vivre au rythme d’événements à vivre en famille. Car avec Escapades, la notion de spectacle « jeune public » recouvre un large spectre de propositions qui ne relèguent pas le genre en seconde zone. L’exigence artistique et la qualité sont les points communs des rendez-vous que l’on nous offre, avec des créateurs peu ou pas tournés vers l’enfance, mais dont les spectacles touchent le plus jeune âge. Cette année, la région Aquitaine est à l’honneur, avec notamment en ouverture, une carte blanche donnée au chorégraphe Hamid Ben Mahi. Depuis quelques années, cet artiste issu de la sphère hip hop tente l’aventure sans cesse renouvelée de la création collective au sein de « Laboratoires » de recherche et de création, amenant ainsi de nombreux artistes à se retrouver, ensemble, dans le croisement artistique et le partage. Ici, pour l’ouverture du festival, cette carte blanche aura le goût des retrouvailles, puisqu’il invite deux copains de classe devenus musiciens et poète, Souleymane Diamanka et Roger Biwandu, ainsi qu’un chanteur basque, Beñat Atchiary.
Grands auteurs et formes ludiques
Cette ouverture prend la forme d’un événement pour le moins inclassable, comme le veut la programmation, tournée vers des formes spectaculaires inattendues (dans les bistrots, dans les bus, les musées…). Autre chorégraphe invitée : Nathalie Pernette, dans un solo très évocateur et plein d’images. Avec Peut-être, la danseuse revêt une multitude de costumes et de personnages, comme pour mieux refléter des désirs inassouvis. En réponse à la question « Que feras-tu quand tu seras grand ? », elle offre aux enfants la possibilité d’un imaginaire débridé, et aux adultes la nostalgie de rêves à habiter. A côté de la présence d’auteurs contemporains, comme Wajdi Mouawad à travers une promenade interactive dans son œuvre, la comédienne et marraine de cette édition Anouk Grinberg a choisi de se tourner vers la forme du conte. Elle livre au public une lecture de morceaux choisis parmi les classiques du genre.
