Le Festival Jeunes Talents reste plus que jamais attaché à ses missions fondatrices : « promouvoir de jeunes musiciens talentueux en début de carrière et permettre l’accès de tous à la musique classique ». Vingt concerts seront symboliquement au programme de cette édition 2020 qui se déroulera du 5 au 25 juillet à la Cathédrale Sainte-Croix-des-Arméniens dotée d’une très belle acoustique et lovée au cœur du quartier du Marais. De très jeunes artistes s’y succèderont – on peut citer la soprano Marie Perbost, l’ensemble baroque Le Consort, le pianiste Théo Fouchenneret ou le clarinettiste Raphaël Sévère, parfois épaulés ou relayés par de (jeunes) aînés qui les ont précédés dans cette programmation frondeuse à l’image du grand baryton (ou ténor, selon les situations) Marc Mauillon, du violoniste Pierre Fouchenneret ou du Trio Karénine. « La musique est la compagne de la joie et le remède de la douleur » : Laurent Bureau, le directeur artistique du festival, s’est laissé inspirer par cette phrase de Vermeer inscrite sur le clavecin de son tableau « La leçon de musique » pour réaliser cette édition afin « d’ apporter à toutes et à tous au travers de ces vingt concerts le réconfort dont chacun a besoin ». Des concerts rares au milieu de l’été parisien où la musique se partage avec un supplément d’âme et d’espoir…
