MUSIQUE DE CHAMBRE / CHAPELLE DE LA FONDATION EUGENE NAPOLEON
Née en Russie, française d’adoption depuis 1990, Elena Filonova a été l’élève d’Emil Gilels et a fait ses débuts de concertiste, en enfant prodige à l’âge de 12 ans, sous la direction d’Evgueni Mravinsky. Pédagogue respectée (à Paris et Moscou), on lui doit aussi l’émergence de ce festival installé dans un lieu atypique de l’Est parisien :la Chapelledela Fondation EugèneNapoléon située à côté dela Placedela Nation. Dansce petit lieu doté d’une excellente acoustique, la programmation fait la part belle aux jeunes talents et à la musique contemporaine en prenant le parti, lors de chaque concert, d’associer œuvres chambristes du grand répertoire et musique de notre temps, en particulier de Thierry Escaich, le « compositeur invité » de cette troisième édition d’Harmonies d’Automne. A noter aussi : le Conte musical « La Reinedes Neiges » de Patrick Cardy d’après le conte d’Andersen par le Quatuor Ardeo et François Castang (récitant), une soirée lyrique autour de la soprano Caroline Casadesus, un récital d’orgue (décentralisé à Saint-Mandé) de Thierry Escaich, un concert de jazz avec l’hommage à Bill Evans du pianiste français Manuel Rocheman.
