Les revoilà ! Comme chaque année à la tombée de l’automne, elles établissent leur camp dans les Hauts-de-Seine. Elles ? C’est-à-dire les marionnettes, ce drôle de peuple qui défie sans complexe les atours de la figuration pour monter le monde d’aujourd’hui dans sa vérité crue, onirique et tragique. Plus insolentes que jamais, elles croquent leurs contemporains avec délice et cueillent malicieusement quelques-uns de leurs fieffés travers. C’est par un singulier Capharnaüm que s’ouvre cette 9ème édition. Donnée en lever de rideau et chaque jour différente, cette forme brève, conçue sous la houlette du metteur en scène Alain Gautré avec de jeunes professionnels diplômés de l’Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts de la Marionnette, allie clown et manipulation d’objets. Chez Mireille & Mathieu, le rire prend des couleurs de joyeux délire : dans leur bazar de foire, chaque objet devient sujet d’une saynète saugrenue à point.
Montrer l’irreprésentable
Pour se rire de l’égoïsme, de la mort, de la violence, la compagnie bien nommée aïe aïe aïe a inventé Beastie Queen, une mademoiselle petite teigne qui énerve grave. Cette année, les marionnettes s’emparent aussi de la littérature : Bérangère Vantusso met en scène Les Aveugles de Maeterlinck et fait entendre, au creux des silences hésitants, le désarroi face à l’inconnu. Les québécois du Sous-marin jaune jouent quant à eux Les essais de Montaigne, entre cours d’initiation politique et épisodes bucoliques. Avec Court-miracles, Le Boustrophédon évoque, sous la direction de Christian Coumin, la vie d’un camp de rescapés, entre héroïsme et lâcheté ordinaire. Dans Kamp, les hollandais d’Hotel Modern osent représenter l’irreprésentable, c’est-à-dire Auschwitz, et questionner notre rapport à l’histoire. Une œuvre rare. A ne pas manquer.
