Des concerts-caméléons qui prennent la couleur des murs qui les entourent… Grâce à ce nouveau festival, trois musées différents proposent trois concerts épousant leur thématique. Au Musée de l’Ordre de la libération, le 14 octobre, le programme se plonge dans l’enfer connu par les artistes juifs sous le régime nazi en s’intéressant au cas très particulier du camp de concentration de Theresienstadt en Tchécoslovaquie. Le compositeur Gidéon Klein (1919-1945), comme d’autres musiciens « dégénérés », a été retenu dans ce lieu servant de vitrine culturelle de la propagande. Conservateurs de musée, historien et musicologue évoquent Terezin avant de céder la place à Hugues Girard (violon), Lucie Girard (violoncelle) et Mayeul Girard (alto) qui jouent le Trio à cordes de Klein. Cette oeuvre composée sur place en octobre 1944 reste le dernier témoignage de Klein avant son transfert à Auschwitz, puis Fürstengrube où il mourut. Une semaine plus tard, dans la Salle des Figures féminines du Musée Maillol, la musique de Lili Boulanger (1893-1918), interprétée par la harpiste Delphine Latil et la soprano Elsa Tirel, souligne à sa manière le rôle central de la femme dans l’œuvre du grand sculpteur Aristide Maillol (1861-1944). Enfin, le 18 novembre, l’Espace EDF Electra associe la musique des jeunes compositeurs contemporains Matteo Franceschini (Parabola, pour violoncelle solo) et Yann Robin (Schizophrenia, pour clarinette en sib et saxophone soprano) avec les œuvres de l’exposition « Residents ».
