Rhizomes réinstalle ses scènes estivales dans les espaces bucoliques du 18ème arrondissement, douze plateaux pour quinze concerts en plein air dans les squares, parcs publics et autres jardins méconnus, avec en point d’orgue un concert de Ny Malagasy et Titi Robin aux Arènes de Montmartre (dimanche 7 juillet, voir encadré). L’affiche propose une diversité inattendue, exigeante, avec une pelletée de beaux noms World telle la Réunionnaise Christine Salem et son maloya métis (le 30 juin à 19h aux Jardins d’Alice) ou la Tunisienne Dorsah Hamdani, dont le chant sublime est pétri des cultures arabes, andalouses et persanes (le 13 juillet à 18h à l’Institut des Cultures d’Islam).
Allier programmation exigeante, légèreté et douceur festive
Mais s’il est question de musiques du monde, il s’agit bien de toutes les musiques, du folklore à l’urbain, de l’Orient à l’Occident, de la culture populaire aux musiques instruites, du Ghana à la Goutte d’Or, des orchestres bariolés aux solos inspirés. Les artistes français (Arnaud Méthivier, Bistanclaque, Serge Teissot Gay, Titi Robin, Zone d’Expression Populaire, Imperial Orphéon) y croisent des musiciens de partout ailleurs : Russie, Syrie, Guinée, Madagascar… Les fusions, les rencontres, les bals et les moments rares s’y jouent comme autant de bulles musicales éphémères.
