Le Festival Solstice inclut toujours des concerts, pour que la fête, de préférence populaire, soit de la partie : Kandy Guira puis Pat Kalla et le Super Mojo le premier weekend, puis ¿Who’s The Cuban? suivi par un bal mené tambour battant par les artistes de la Bande à Tyrex le second weekend. Mais Solstice c’est avant toute chose des spectacles de cirque, avec un large spectre de disciplines qui couvrent le clown-punk-acrobatique (STEK, cie Intrepidus), la prise de risque en balançoire (La balançoire géante, La Volte Cirque), l’équilibre philosophique (Rapprochons-nous, La Mondiale Générale) ou la chorégraphie pour acrobates-danseurs sur structure monumentale (Leminiscate, cie Bivouac).
Des concerts et du cirque pour fêter les beaux jours
Il y en a donc pour tous les goûts, comme pour tous les publics, du très entraînant comme les propositions de La Bande à Tyrex ou du plus contemplatif comme À 2 mètres de Jesse Huygh. Plusieurs spectacles iront même chercher la participation du public : Damoclès du Cirque Inextrémiste, et le très enthousiasmant We Agree To Disagree du collectif belge Les Malunés. À noter deux spectacles à la distribution 100% féminine : Top Down de La Triochka et Women Weave the Land de La Migration.
