Festival WET° / festival de jeune création contemporaine
Créé il y a dix ans par Gilles Bouillon, le JTRC a comme mission première de permettre aux jeunes comédiens sortis des écoles de jouer le plus possible, selon le vieil adage qui veut qu’on devienne forgeron en forgeant ! « Les membres du JTRC sont aussi de jeunes artistes à part entière dont les esthétiques, les réflexions et les pratiques façonnent au quotidien le théâtre de demain. Issus des meilleures écoles nationales et régionales, ils sont un échantillon du théâtre qui bouge et qui se bouge, tel qu’il frémit sur l’ensemble du territoire national. » Dans les murs du CDR et au Volapük (12bis, rue Lobin), ainsi que dans les rues de Tours, ces jeunes artistes, en compagnie d’autres de leur génération, présentent neuf spectacles : « une occasion unique de suivre le parcours d’acteurs passés par le JTRC, de faire se croiser les familles de théâtre, et de brasser, avec les générations, artistes et spectateurs ».
