C’est l’histoire de Jonasz, un jeune homme du centre d’une petite ville du cœur de la France. Père chômeur, fumeur de shit, villas bourges d’un côté, tours populaires de l’autre, il vit entre deux mondes, entre deux âges, pas mal avec ses potes de quartier. Fief reprend le titre éponyme du premier roman de David Lopez. Un ouvrage consacré en 2018 par le prix du livre Inter qui a fait entrer en littérature une certaine langue, issue du rap et du bitume, des territoires et leurs habitants, souvent invisibilisés.
Ce qu’on fait quand on ne fait rien
Gants de boxe et sac de frappe, micro et écran, Pierre Vigié porte seul sur scène la voix de ce personnage d’aujourd’hui et le style à la fois romanesque et rocailleux du texte. Les copains, les amours, la boxe et surtout le temps qu’on tue, à fumer et à boire, à discuter du monde extérieur qui fait peur et du poto Lahuiss qui se lance dans les études. Avec cette drôlerie et ce sens de la formule d’une jeunesse dont l’auteur est originaire, lui qui a grandi à Nemours en passant par le rap et les rings, Fief déploie un récit qui cherche aussi à écrire « ce qu’on fait quand on ne fait rien ».
