Elle descend la travée presque subrepticement, timidement, elle regarde les gens, qui jusque là papotaient tranquillement, adresse quelques bonjours, et, désignant la scène du doigt, murmure : « j’y vais ». Là voilà sur le plateau vide dans son peignoir à petits nœuds, juchée sur ses talons, immobile pendant toute la durée de la représentation, mains nerveuses, jambes nues… Son ombre l’accompagne, de chaque côté de la scène, et ça en impose. D’emblée, soutenu par de très belles lumières, Lars Noren provoque et installe l’écoute avec efficacité et sobriété, tendant un fil invisible entre la comédienne et le public. Simona Maïcanescu, qui a joué dans Guerre et Eaux dormantes de Lars Noren, réussit ici une performance impressionnante. Intranquille, fragile, inquiète, en lutte contre le sentiment d’indifférence qui parfois domine chacun d’entre nous, elle se livre avec toute l’intensité, la capacité schizophrénique et la rage contenue que requiert le monologue. Car cette parole veut rendre compte sérieusement et profondément de l’abîme qui sépare les riches et les pauvres, les nantis et les exploités privés de dignité et de liberté.
Trois consciences révoltées
« Plus je voyage, mieux je vois les décalages, les injustices, la violence du monde, la force de la vie. Pouvoir vous en parler, c’est ma fièvre. » dit la comédienne, qui a grandi en Roumanie. L’américain Wallace Shawn, acteur au cinéma et dramaturge, a écrit Fièvre pour parler de « ce paysage choquant que l’on traverse tous chaque jour et que la majorité ne réussit plus à voir », « pour que l’évidence, tout à coup, saute aux yeux ». Quant à Lars Noren, dont l’œuvre dramatique questionne et dissèque la cruauté du monde, il met en scène ce texte selon lui “indispensable“ et “terrifiant“ parce qu’il « décrit la vie, ou plutôt la fuite de la vie. Notre vie à nous et celle des autres dans la société occidentale. » Ce spectacle réunit donc trois talents, trois consciences révoltées par l’injustice économique “brutale“ et “sidérante“ qui ravage le monde, trois consciences désirant partager leurs sentiments et leurs pensées à travers le théâtre. Certes, le texte parfois redondant et simple, parfois fulgurant, ne révèle rien de nouveau, et les médias regorgent de reportages sur ce thème (sur le tremblement de terre en Haïti, sur ces hommes et ces femmes comme tout le monde devenus SDF, sur la Corée du Nord, où on voit des enfants affamés guetter de minuscules miettes sur un sol immonde, etc). La liste est sans doute infinie, et le moindre flash d’information évoque souvent l’injustice effrayante du monde. Le problème n’est pas la prise de conscience, c’est la mise en œuvre de changements. Simplement là au théâtre la vérité sincère et nue de l’actrice impressionne. Les mots font réfléchir. Vous y repenserez lorsque vous préparerez votre café du matin, repère immuable…
