Théâtre La Piscine / D’après Beaumarchais et Da Ponte / mes Jean Liermier
Quel ravage provoque le sentiment amoureux dans Figaro ! Quels détours emprunte le désir constamment contrarié ! Jean Liermier est parti de la structure du livret de Da Ponte créé pour l’opéra de Mozart en y réinjectant le texte original de la pièce de Beaumarchais. Les comédiens ne chantent pas, il s’agit plutôt « d’une version de chambre parlée », resserrant l’action en quatre actes concentrés sur Suzanne, Figaro, le couple Almaviva, Chérubin ainsi que Marceline. Suzanne et Figaro préparent leur mariage, mais le Comte Almaviva, homme de pouvoir, fait la cour à la jolie camériste… Les ruses des valets sauront-ils contrecarrer les caprices arrogants des puissants ? Jean Liermier orchestre cette ronde des désirs avec vivacité et habileté. Dans un monde vacillant, la Révolution se devine, les opprimés s’affirment et les personnages se révèlent à eux-mêmes après moult péripéties et travestissements.
