Théâtre de la Ville / Chor. Israel Galvan
Fla.co.men, comme son titre le suggère avec son inversion, est un retour. Un retour aux sources du flamenco qu’Israel Galvan avait commencé par bousculer. Mais il faut quitter ses origines pour mieux les retrouver, ce que Galvan sait bien, lui qui cite dans ce spectacle les beaux vers d’Enrique Morente, extraordinaire chanteur de flamenco : « j’ai été pierre et j’ai perdu mon centre. On m’a jeté à la mer et à la fin mon centre est venu me retrouver ». Fla.co.men fait donc appel à des extraits de ses précédentes créations, mais remaniées, remontées, une maille à l’envers, une maille à l’endroit, dans une insouciance joyeuse, rénovant sa gestuelle, créant une partition étonnante. Le corps du danseur devient un instrument parmi les autres, seul face aux voix de Tomás de Perrate et David Lagos, au violon ou au cor d’Eloisa Cantón, à la guitare de Caracafé ou aux percussions du groupe Proyecto Lorca. Ludique, aérien, lumineux, Galvan nous offre l’essence du flamenco avec un vent de liberté.
