Théâtre de Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines / chor. Lionel Hoche
Lionel Hoche est un chorégraphe romantique. A une époque qui cherche à rationnaliser et à maîtriser, il oppose l’étrangeté et l’insaisissable : Flashville, sa dernière création, dilate un « flash amoureux », un délire de désir et de perte de soi. Chaque épisode de la Symphonie Fantastique réactive l’obsession du héros pour une femme fantasmatique, d’autant plus attirante qu’elle se situe dans une autre dimension. Dans cette ville abstraite et changeante, chaque personnage semble se perdre, mais aussi se multiplier. Une réflexion sur la chimère, dont la mise en oeuvre, elle, n’a rien d’évanescent : dix danseurs, un orchestre… Par les temps qui courent, qui voient les budgets se restreindre et les « petits formats » s’imposer, un tel projet est une prise de risque, un acte politique que l’on ne peut que saluer bien bas. La fragilité du rêve, manifestement, est aussi porteuse d’audace.
