Tout à son idée d’espace, dans son aspect le plus fondamental, géométrique, voire conceptuel, le chorégraphe n’en a pas moins oublié son expérience au contact des migrants de la jungle de Calais. Là, la question du déplacement, du flux, s’est imposée à Raphaël Soleilhavoup d’une tout autre façon, orientant sa démarche vers la question de la communauté, du groupe, de la notion d’espace public et privé. Au cours du processus, les danseurs ont éprouvé diverses situations de déplacement de façon physique et sensorielle, avant de composer une partition chorégraphique plus formelle, proche de la science des cartes, allant jusqu’à l’étude de la vague. La pièce prend corps au sein du cycle “Si loin si proche“ et de la soirée “C’est Xtra“ au Théâtre de Brétigny, avec, en aval de la représentation à 18h30, une conférence illustrée, intitulée Faut-il se méfier des cartes ?, avec Nicolas Lambert et Françoise Bahoken, chercheurs au CNRS, participants au réseau Migreurop.
