Dans le cadre d’un mois de réflexion et de création artistique autour de la question de la folie, le Monfort Théâtre propose spectacles, documentaires, lecture et table ronde pour tâcher de réfléchir aux rapports toujours difficiles entre le normal et le pathologique, à la définition toujours incertaine, stérile et porteuse d’incompréhension et de souffrance de ces deux notions, et au traitement encore archaïque, parfois brutal et souvent débilitant de ceux qu’on relègue faute de les entendre et de les traiter comme des sujets. Parce que la folie est affaire de discours, tant dans sa désignation que dans son errance, force est de l’entendre pour tâcher de la comprendre et de la parler pour ne pas rajouter à la confusion de la douleur le silence de l’ignorance. Il s’agit de comprendre qu’être un sujet, c’est trouver la voie originale de la construction de soi et son mode propre de rapport au monde que seule l’abstraction croit commun alors qu’il n’est fait que de singularités. Tel est le moyen de se défaire de la terreur que font naître les fous, tel est aussi le chemin qu’emprunte l’artiste pour dire sa vision de la réalité. Ce pourquoi les tentatives artistiques et réflexives que réunit le Monfort Théâtre sur ce thème peuvent ouvrir les yeux et le cœur de ceux qui considèrent la folie comme une faille.

Des spectacles d’abord : Mélissa Von Vépy (compagnie Moglice – Von Verx) présente Miroir, Miroir dans les jardins du théâtre, les 3 et 10 mai ; le collectif GdRA présente Singularités ordinaires du 5 au 12 mai ; Sarah Lascar présente Chut… le 17 mai et Angela Laurier présente Déversoir du 17 au 19 mai et J’aimerais pouvoir rire du 21 au 24 mai. Des documentaires ensuite : Elle s’appelle Sabine, de Sandrine Bonnaire, le 3 mai ; San Clemente de Raymond Depardon et Sophie Ristelhueber, le 10 mai et Bye-bye apartheid, d’Olivier Meyrou, le 25 mai. La lecture de Un Deux Un Deux par François Bégaudeau et Mélanie Mary, le 4 mai. Une table ronde, enfin, le 17 mai, avec Jean-Pierre Winter, Noëlle Châtelet et Yann Ciret. Autant d’occasions et de rencontres pour, selon l’ambition de cette manifestation, « libérer les fous, c’est-à-dire, les ramener à la parole, dans la parole, donc parmi nous ».
