Centre Wallonie-Bruxelles / d’après la bande-dessinée de Claire Bouilhac et Jake Raynal / mes Jean-Michel Frère
Créé en janvier 2016 au Théâtre de Namur, Francis sauve le monde passe les frontières pour présenter son humour déjanté à Paris, au Centre Wallonie-Bruxelles. Inspiré du personnage de bande-dessinée imaginé par Claire Bouilhac et Jake Raynal, ce spectacle de théâtre d’objets s’installe dans un univers enfantin de jouets et de peluches pour raconter les péripéties pas du tout bon enfant du blaireau Francis. « Francis est faible, lâche, cynique, cruel, égocentré, expliquent Pauline Desmarets, François Saussus et Sébastien Derock. Francis peut abandonner toute morale, toute éthique, toute fidélité, toute culpabilité, du moment qu’il peut satisfaire ses besoins essentiels : boire-baiser-bouffer. » En une trentaine d’aventures, les trois comédiens-narrateurs font vivre les travers et les excès de cet anti-héros post-moderne. Et laissent retentir un rire féroce et décapant.
