L’Onde / conception Artur Ribeiro et André Curti
André Curti et Artur Ribeiro tissent depuis nombre d’années une œuvre singulière dont ils sont les concepteurs éclairés, un théâtre gestuel et imagé que porte la saveur d’une musique originale, celle du compositeur Fernando Mota, pour la nouvelle création Frères de sang, comme déjà pour Saudade. Le corps chez ces artistes est l’éloquence même, souple, délié et inventif, à travers l’expression des contraintes, des règles autoritaires et des interdits familiaux et sociaux qui peuvent le mettre à mal pour la vie. Après des années d’éloignement, deux frères se retrouvent le jour de l’enterrement de leur père. C’est aussi le moment de la démolition de la maison familiale. Le décor est une installation – sculpture à l’intérieur de laquelle les objets jouent avec la mémoire, les souvenirs et les conflits familiaux enfouis dans le puits vertigineux d’une enfance commune. Les retrouvailles entre les frères, écartelés entre l’amour et la haine, sont tendues et pourraient imploser à tout instant. Le spectacle onirique raconte cet univers de non-dits et d’aveux à travers la ligne fragile des corps, la relation d’ambiguïté physique, « une apnée familiale qui débouche sur des éclatements sans contrôle. » Un conte sombre et éblouissant.
