MUSIQUE SACREE / SURESNES
Dans la lignée de Laurence Equilbey, Geoffroy Jourdain a contribué à dépoussiérer le répertoire choral. Effectif allégé, pureté des voix, cohésion entre les pupitres… telles sont les qualités premières de son ensemble les Cris de Paris. Au Théâtre de Suresnes, Geoffroy Jourdain consacre un programme à la musique des ospedali vénitiens, à la fois orphelinats et conservatoires de musique, le plus célèbre étant l’Ospedale della Pieta, avec comme compositeur officiel Antonio Vivaldi. Du « prêtre roux » seront d’ailleurs programmées deux œuvres majeures : le Gloria et le Kyrie. Une découverte en revanche avec le Miserere de Johann Adolf Hasse, d’une grande richesse contrapuntique. Geoffroy Jourdain adopte les conditions originales d’exécution, en dirigeant un chœur uniquement féminin. A noter qu’en complément seront donnés quatre chœurs de Maurice Ohana, dont on commémore les 20 ans de la disparition.
