Pour Crébassa, ce nouveau et ambitieux projet est un aboutissement. Celui d’un musicien habité, passé par des expériences musicales très différentes, du rythm’n’blues aux musiques improvisées, avouant le désir fou, beau, saisissant et naïf à la fois de repenser le monde en musique. En s’appuyant sur les arts numériques et la vidéo, le saxophoniste livre une vision globale de sa musique, donnant vie sur scène aux images nées dans son imagination lors de la composition de son dernier album. La musique aux audacieux alliages de couleurs est résolument lyrique et débridée, portée par un saxophone envoûtant, d’une force poétique indiscutable, évoquant par instants la magie de Gato Barbieri ou les audaces d’Albert Ayler. Ici, la musique pousse très loin son propos, ne laissant aucun répit à l’auditeur, acculé à l’écoute, happé par l’instant, comme on dévale une pente raide. Avec Fred Richard à la batterie, Jean-Philippe Cazenove à la contrebasse, Duncan Morellet aux steel drums et le Vj Mathias T.
