Professeur de piano au CNSMD de Lyon, disciple de Reine Gianoli et Aldo Ciccolini, nourri par l’enseignement de Paul Badura-Skoda, György Sebok et Dimitri Bashkirov, Géry Moutier (né en 1957) est une personnalité importante du paysage pianistique français. Il fut à la fin des années 70 lauréat des concours internationaux de Cleveland, Barcelone et Marguerite Long à Paris. Pour ce récital à Cortot, il a choisi de jouer Schubert (Deux Lieder, transcrits pas Liszt), Liszt (Sonate en si mineur) et Ravel (Jeux d’eau ; Gaspard de la Nuit). Le même jour à 20h30, on retrouvera le trop rare Hugues Leclère. Cet ancien élève de Catherine Collard (mais aussi d’autres grands maîtres français : Jean-Claude Pennetier, Jean-François Heisser, Alain Planès) est connu pour ses interprétations de Debussy et Ravel. Il choisit pourtant d’aborder ce soir un autre univers avec Scarlatti (4 sonates), Bellini et Chopin (2 Nocturnes, une Barcarolle, la 1ère Ballade en sol mineur opus 23, Andante Spianato et Grande Polonaise brillante en mi bémol majeur opus 22, etc…). À noter aussi que Hugues Leclère sera l’invité, le 12 janvier prochain, de la saison du Musée d’Orsay pour un programme de musique de chambre en compagnie des Solistes de l’Orchestre de Paris.
