Récompensé par les académies, suivi par un public de fidèles, le natif de Pérouse a su imposer son style sur la scène du jazz français. Après avoir servi comme sideman, c’est en 1998 que cet autodidacte autoproduit son premier disque en trio avec le batteur Louis Moutin et le contrebassiste Daniele Mencarelli. Cet album va lui permettre de rencontrer un producteur, Philippe Ghielmetti, qui deviendra son alter ego. Dès lors, le pianiste enchaîne les projets, d’un remarquable solo « Avanti », dédié aux chants révolutionnaires jusqu’à « Terra Furiosa », qui l’associe en 2008 au batteur Leon Parker et au contrebassiste Gianluca Renzi, sans oublier le génial Glenn Ferris et le virtuose Flavio Boltro au sein du Trio (((AIR))). Tous ces compagnons de route seront là pour saluer celui qui fait chanter les touches de son piano.
