S’emparant d’écrits littéraires teintés d’onirisme et de fantasmagorie, la Compagnie Pseudonymo déploie des univers théâtraux faits de clartés et d’obscurités, de ressassements intimes et d’éclats de réel, de perspectives sonores et visuelles saisissantes. Des univers théâtraux à travers lesquels David Girondin Moab (fondateur de la compagnie) s’attache à confronter sur scène la présence de comédiens et de créations marionnettiques. Aujourd’hui, le jeune metteur en scène et plasticien a choisi d’interroger l’illusion du vivant en étendant le champ lexical de la marionnette à la projection vidéo, faisant ainsi surgir « des fantômes hyperréalistes et tridimensionnels », des formes d’hologrammes qui « errent sur scène comme des coques creuses ». « Dans cet univers, confie-t-il, le support de projection est effacé au profit de l’objet projeté, spectral et troublant. »
La projection vidéo comme possibilité marionnettique
Pour ce nouveau spectacle, la Compagnie Pseudonymo porte à la scène un chapitre du roman Bardo or not Bardo dans lequel Antoine Volodine présente avec humour l’arrivée d’un soldat décédé dans le Bardo, espace entre la vie et la mort appartenant à l’imaginaire bouddhiste. « Le Bardo est un endroit de questionnement métaphysique où l’on esquisse une réponse à la finitude humaine et à son éternel recommencement, explique David Girondin Moab. Ce nouveau continent romanesque envisage la scène comme un lieu de passage, un monde intermédiaire entre les vivants et les morts qui renouvelle le théâtre rituel des origines. »Cette dimension rituelle et magique de l’art dramatique, la Compagnie Pseudonymo l’investit depuis aujourd’hui plus de dix ans par le biais de mises en perspective et de fulgurances de toute beauté. Des mises en perspective et des fulgurances qui placent le public face aux principes d’être et de non-être, d’absence et de présence, de vies incarnées et de fantômes vivants.
