Théâtre des Doms / texte et mes Vincent Hennebicq
« Je voulais raconter une histoire à hauteur d’homme (…) une histoire d’immigration à l’envers» déclare Vincent Hennebicq, l’auteur et metteur en scène de ce spectacle coup de poing. Inspiré de faits réels, Going home narre le parcours et la quête intérieure de Michalak, jeune homme adopté par une famille autrichienne, désirant fuir ce pays qui n’est pas le sien, rêvant d’argent facile, de femmes et de soleil. Alors qu’il est parvenu à quitter cette Europe hostile et qu’il a gagné l’Ethiopie, il est rattrapé par son passé et renvoyé d’où il vient. S’engage alors un combat contre la fatalité qui fraiera le chemin de l’espoir. Le récit de cette singulière trajectoire humaine, intime et universelle, raconté à la première personne, est porté par l’acteur rwandais Dorcy Rugamba. Face au public, sans effets de distanciation théâtrale, le comédien partage la scène avec Vincent Cahay (piano et batterie) et François Sauveur (violon et guitare), co-auteurs des compositions originales qui accompagnent le récit. Jouant sur l’interaction entre le texte et la musique, travaillant les rythmes et les silences, la pièce transdisciplinaire s’enrichit également du travail video d’Olivier Boonjing fait d’images prises sur le sol éthiopien.
