Après avoir organisé en mars dernier avec succès la quatrième édition de la Biennale Musiques en scène de Lyon, le Grame débarque à Paris. Le concert du Centre Wallonie-Bruxelles confronte différentes esthétiques du paysage musical contemporain, avec une attention particulière pour les compositeurs d’Outre Quiévrain. En première partie seront ainsi programmés Sophonie de Jean-Paul Dessy, directeur de l’ensemble belge Musique nouvelle, la Sonate pour violoncelle de José Evangelista, dont le style efficace mais un peu kitsch nous a souvent laissé dubitatif, et Sur douceur, pour violon et électronique, de Jean-François Estager et James Giroudon, le patron du Grame. La suite du concert poursuit ce voyage au coeur de la création avec Echo de la terre profonde du chinois Xu Yi et In & out de Pierre Jodlowski. Mais surtout, on attend avec impatience April suite de Thierry De Mey. Le compositeur belge se distingue par son ouverture à d’autres formes artistiques, notamment la danse et la vidéo. Cette mixité des discours est toujours ambitieuse, jamais démagogique. Les interprètes réunis pour cette soirée sont tous des militants lyonnais de la musique contemporaine, depuis le violoncelle de Benjamin Carat jusqu’à l’Ensemble des Percussions Claviers de Lyon, en passant par le violon de Jérémie Siot.
