Les occasions sont beaucoup trop rares de voir la salle du Conservatoire d’Art Dramatique (CNSAD) renouer avec son historique et légendaire vocation musicale… Au secours, Mr le directeur Daniel Mesguich ! Ouvrez vos portes aux musiciens ! La conjonction d’un décor, d’une acoustique et d’une mémoire exceptionnels font de ce lieu incomparable – où furent créées en France les symphonies de Beethoven, où Chopin et Liszt se retrouvaient pour jouer les concertos de Bach, où Berlioz donna la première de sa Symphonie Fantastique… – une salle de concerts idéale… Sachant bien où il pose son piano, le jeune pianiste français Guillaume Coppola consacre son récital à des œuvres de Liszt, Chopin et Granados, à l’heure même où paraît chez Calliope un disque intitulé « Liszt, un portrait ». « J’ai toujours eu une fascination pour Franz Liszt, autant pour l’homme que pour le pianiste ou le compositeur, et j’admire sa capacité à mettre en scène la musique, la dramaturgie de son oeuvre, et la grande variété de sentiments humains qu’il explore » confie l’ancien élève trentenaire de Jean-Claude Pennetier, Dmitri Bashkirov et Leon Fleisher. Un cocktail ouvert au public prolongera le concert, offrant l’opportunité sympathique de rencontrer le pianiste de façon informelle…
