Comédie de Picardie / de Friedrich von Schiller / mes Nora Granovsky
Un acte de désobéissance qui cristallise et dynamise une révolution, comme un moment de bascule vers un autre monde. Dans la pièce éponyme de Friedrich von Schiller (1759-1805), Guillaume Tell apparaît comme un héros fondateur, libérant la Suisse de la tyrannie d’Hermann Gessler, bailli des Habsbourg. Ce dernier exige des villageois qu’ils saluent son chapeau planté en haut d’une hampe, et Guillaume Tell passa sans se découvrir. « Que nous apprend cette fable sur notre humanité, notre pouvoir de résistance, notre lutte pour la liberté, nos lâchetés et nos vertus ? » interroge la metteure en scène Nora Granovsky. Au-delà du mythe national, elle explore avec l’auteur et dramaturge Kevin Keiss le souffle de la révolte, la résistance à l’oppresseur, le degré de conscience politique, l’articulation entre action individuelle et collective. Dans une langue neuve, huit comédiens musiciens réécrivent le mythe et mettent en œuvre un théâtre organique à travers une puissante dynamique chorale.
