Laurent Fréchuret, metteur en scène et directeur du Théâtre de Sartrouville CDN, a eu l’heureuse idée de convoquer sur le plateau Harry et Samde Dorothée Zumstein, une pièce tissée de mots d’humour et de poésie enfantine, brodée de correspondances sonores et visuelles, ourlée de plus d’une douce cadence tonique. Harry, le vieux magicien oublié, maître en chutes et dégringolades chez qui se rend Sam, un brillant et jeune débutant coq et vantard, habite la rue du « pain perdu », des « pas perdus », à moins que ce ne soit du « chat pendu ». Les jeux de mots résonnent et il fallait, pour porter à l’oreille ce verbe burlesque et rafraîchissant, des comédiens d’envergure, maîtres dans l’art de la parole mais aussi du mouvement, la subtile expression de l’imaginaire des corps. L’un est danseur accompli de hip-hop, Samuel Faccioli, gestuelle souple et maîtrisée à l’architecture baroque et au rythme singulier, heurté et lié, cassé et coulant.
Un match intergénérationnel, onirique et spirituel, sert d’initiation
Sam représente l’avenir et la promesse du futur, le doute ne l’effleure pas. Mais l’esprit de la magie l’enjoint à rencontrer Harry, l’artiste âgé en panne de talent. Harry Holtzman, clown philosophe à la dégaine filiforme élégante incarne un spécialiste dans l’art de tomber, un concept moral et physique. Peut-être a-t-il perdu ses dons de magicien mais il représente le charme de l’expérience, le prestige de celui qui a vécu, la séduction et la puissance de la passion de vivre. L’homme à l’accent américain, vieil ange révolté contre Dieu, escamote l’arrogance de l’apprenti en se révélant prestidigitateur des idées, savant en tours de passe-passe et disparitions subtiles. Un match intergénérationnel, onirique et spirituel, sert d’initiation. Sur le plateau, brillent le strass, son éclat trompeur, l’imitation du sublime et la musique. Une pluie de lucioles jetées de magicien à magicien envoûte les spectateurs subjugués par cette averse d’étoiles, gouttes de lumière et ballet de feu de petits astres ardents tombés du ciel. Ce scintillement rallumé enchante nos rêves oubliés.
