MEUDON, TOURCOING / MUSIQUE ANCIENNE
Au xvie siècle, le vénitien Lodovico Dolce fait resurgir le mythe d’Hécube, épouse du roi Priam, portant inlassablement le deuil de ses fils et devenue figure allégorique de la vengeance. À son tour, son contemporain Marin Držić traduit en langue croate le poème tragique de Dolce. Katarina Livljanić s’appuie sur ces deux langues pour perpétuer la relecture du mythe et prolonger l’œuvre des aèdes, à travers une reconstitution musicale portée par l’ensemble Dialogos, dont elle est la directrice artistique, et le chœur Kantaduri. La chanteuse, qui incarne Hécube, entend ainsi illustrer l’errance vengeresse et cathartique de la reine de Troie, entre rêves et accomplissements. La mise en scène de Sanda Hržić accompagne cette circulation de la musique et des sentiments.
