Matisse pour le grand peintre, Henriette pour celle qui lui servit de modèle… Ce spectacle plonge le jeune spectateur dans l’acte de création en empruntant à la vie et à la démarche artistique d’Henri Matisse. Sur scène, quatre danseurs interprètent les deux personnages, et incarnent également le « trait » et la « couleur ». Le mouvement de la danse s’inscrit dans le quatuor pour accorder les uns et les autres selon les grands principes du peintre. Le chorégraphe s’amuse avec l’art de celui qui a si bien représenté « la danse », travaillant en gestes et en images le style, la couleur, l’aplat, le sujet, la composition, l’inspiration… Conçu comme une petite fable, le spectacle s’annonce ludique et exerce le regard du spectateur au geste de la création, qu’il soit chorégraphique ou pictural.
