Après Dino Buzzati et des contes africains, la compagnie Rêvages s’attaque aux mythes grecs. Ceux de Persée, de Prométhée et de Pandore, par lesquels elle souhaite exprimer ce qui depuis la nuit des temps fait notre humanité. S’inspirant librement de L’univers, les dieux, les hommes, texte de Jean-Pierre Vernant, Héros (we can be) représente les mésaventures de ces héros et héroïnes confrontés à la cruauté des dieux de l’Olympe. Avec cinq interprètes au plateau, la forme alternant jeu et adresse directe au public mêle l’humour à la musique.
Un spectacle musical, loufoque et joyeux
L’un échappe de peu à la mort à sa naissance, puis tue la Méduse, sauve et épouse Andromède, et fonde des cités sur lesquelles il règne. L’autre, attaché à un rocher, se fait dévorer le foie par un aigle parce qu’il a volé le feu aux dieux. L’héroïne, elle, est restée célèbre dans nos visions patriarcales pour avoir, par curiosité, ouvert la fameuse boîte à malheurs. Leurs destinées divergentes sont représentées dans un spectacle en partie musical, souvent loufoque et toujours joyeux, qui se demande tout du long comment nous, pauvres humains, pouvons devenir d’authentiques héros.
