Passer du punk à Trénet ne relève pas de l’évidence. C’est pourtant le parcours réellement accompli par Zoon Besse qui, brusquement, à 22 ans, quitte son groupe, Double Zéro, pour chanter « Le débit de lait », « la mer », etc. Le jeune homme en vient même à constituer un duo, Zoon et Léo, désormais plus habitué à fréquenter le plateau de La Chance aux chansons que les scènes underground. Au-delà d’une conversion aussi inattendue que cocasse, cet hommage à la poésie du « fou chantant » est également une histoire d’amour entre un beau-père et son fils qui cherche à comprendre le point de bascule. Celui qui fait qu’on décide d’arrêter, de changer de vie. De quoi parler à « la nouvelle génération [qui] est dans cette problématique de l’engagement, du risque zéro, de la rentabilité… ». Guillaume Barbot met en scène ce spectacle musical de la compagnie Coup de Poker, avec son complice Zoon Besse qu’il retrouve pour la troisième fois après Club 27 et Nuit. Les amateurs du travail de cette compagnie peuvent aussi voir pendant le festival On a fort mal dormi au théâtre 2 Galeries, un seul en scène sur les sans-abris.
