Chorégraphe belge, Karine Pontiès développe dans ses pièces des univers très à part, chargés d’images, au propre comme au figuré. Ici, c’est sa collaboration avec l’éditeur Thierry Van Hasselt, également illustrateur et graphiste, qui est au centre du projet d’Holeulone. Basée sur un roman de science fiction, Fleurs pour Algernon de Daniel Keyes, la pièce développe le point de vue d’un personnage et de son double, baignés dans une atmosphère étrange. Les dessins animés, emprunts d’une certaine noirceur, sont projetés tandis que luttent les danseurs dans un corps à corps quasi acrobatique. L’encre et le mouvement s’unissent dans la tentative de plonger le spectateur aux frontières du rêve et de la réalité, dans des profondeurs abyssales comme autant de reflets d’un univers mental perturbé par une troublante gémellité.
