Quinze ans après avoir mis un terme à sa carrière de chanteur, le baryton Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau demeure un monument de l’art vocal, dont le talent sur les scènes d’opéra et sans doute plus encore dans la pratique du récital est aujourd’hui perpétué par ses innombrables enregistrements. L’Auditorium du Louvre lui rend un bel hommage en programmant quatre jours de musique filmée, occasion de retrouver l’artiste en compagnie de ses partenaires de prédilection, de Gerald Moore à Alfred Brendel, de Wolfgang Sawallisch à Lorin Maazel. Surtout, un concert, le 28 septembre à 20h, permettra de retrouver cet immense artiste sur scène comme récitant dans des mélodrames de Liszt, Schuman et Viktor Ullmann, un répertoire qu’il a enregistré il y a quelques années. À ses côtés, on retrouve le fidèle Hartmut Höll au piano. L’hommage se poursuit la semaine suivante avec l’interprétation (le 3 octobre à 20h) du Voyage d’hiver de Schubert par Dietrich Henschel, à bien des égards héritier de l’art de Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau.
