Voici en moins d’un mois deux interprétations du plus grand succès d’Henri Tomasi (1901-1971), son Concerto pour trompette de 1949 qu’ont depuis inscrit à leur répertoire tous les virtuoses, de Maurice André à Sergei Nakariakov en passant par le jazzman Wynton Marsalis. Deux solistes de grande classe – David Guerrier avec l’Orchestre national d’Ile-de-France et Alexandre Baty, soliste de l’Orchestre philharmonique de Radio France, sous la direction de Myung-Whun Chung – s’emparent aujourd’hui de cette œuvre entraînante en diable, qui n’échappe pas au tropisme jazzy de l’instrument. En complément de programme : Bruckner (7e Symphonie) avec le Philhar’, Mendelssohn (Ouverture "Trompette"), Takemitsu et Mozart (40e Symphonie) avec l’ONDIF, qui poursuit son exploration des univers de Tomasi et Takemitsu en formation de chambre le 7 février (David Guerrier sera cette fois au cor pour les quintettes de Mozart et Beethoven).
