C’est au sein du théâtre portatif de sa compagnie (L’Art mobile) que Gil Bourasseau s’empare d’Homme pour Homme. Conçue pour enchanter, le temps d’une représentation ou d’une courte résidence, un théâtre, une salle polyvalente, un gymnase, un hangar, une grange…, cette structure itinérante donne aujourd’hui corps à la farce cruelle sur l’embrigadement écrite par Bertolt Brecht. « J’ai imaginé un souffle, déclare le metteur en scène, un tourbillon, porté par des acteurs moins portefaix de thèses que vecteurs de plaisirs. Quelque chose d’entraînant et de déstabilisant. Comme si les mouvements intérieurs des personnages débordaient, tambour battant. » Souhaitant aller au-delà du drame social et de la fable philosophique, Gil Bourasseau a élaboré une représentation traversée de paysages sonores et musicaux, une représentation qui « tente d’approcher les mécanismes des échanges entre les êtres humains, sinon avec innocence, du moins sans préjugés ».
