Initié et coordonné par Act’art, le festival Hoptimum est réalisé avec un réseau de structures culturelles et d’associations de jeunesse du département, avec le soutien du Conseil général de Seine-et-Marne. De cette collaboration naît un festival haut en couleurs, avec les compagnies Accrorap, Wanted Posse, Mémoire Vive… Le 7 mars, pour l’ouverture du festival, les danseurs et les chorégraphes réunis dans la programmation de cette année invitent les publics à un grand bal hip-hop, accessible à tous (Espace Charles-Vanel de Lagny-sur-Marne). Ensuite, presque chaque soir jusqu’à la fin du mois, un spectacle est proposé.
Créations multiples autour de l’identité
La programmation compte en outre trois créations. Le 8 mars à 16H30 (Nangis) et le 13 mars à 20H45 (Chelles), Junior Bosila présentera Buanattitude, solo dans lequel il revient sur ses origines zaïroises et son histoire. La représentation du 8 mars sera suivie d’une autre création : Etrange étranger. Jean-Claude Pambè Wayack y met en scène deux danseurs originaires d’Afrique, mais à l’histoire totalement différente : l’un deux, né au Burkina Faso, vit aujourd’hui à Ouagadougou ; l’autre, né en France, vit en région parisienne. Entre réalité et imaginaire, ils passent d’une identité à une autre, se transforment, évoluent, se perdant et se retrouvant. Le 17 mars à 20H30 à Fontainebleau, c’est Paulo Azevedo qui présentera sa nouvelle pièce, Corps ouvert. Il a fait appel à un danseur béninois et deux danseurs brésiliens pour explorer le lien émotionnel qui continue d’unir le Brésil au Bénin (qui fut la terre de déportation de nombreux esclaves vers le Brésil). Funk et macumba dialoguent dans cette réflexion sur la mémoire et l’identité. Car c’est bien souvent d’enjeux historiques et politiques qu’il s’agit dans les pièces présentées : les organisateurs ont donc tenu à proposer aussi un vaste programme de conférences, débats, projections et concerts. Exposition d’œuvres et poèmes de Kamel Yahiaoui à Melun, rencontre avec des artistes algériens, ateliers de création slam, etc. : le hip-hop a tout à gagner en se plaçant au cœur d’un programme culturel ambitieux, et le public aussi.
