Ce concentré de danse se positionne malgré lui, au-delà du propos artistique au cœur de chaque pièce, comme un questionnement sur la forme. Que ce soit avec Mathilde Monnier, qui ne cesse d’interroger son rapport à la musique – ici au travers d’une rencontre inédite autour du répertoire du Velvet Underground -, avec Rodolphe Burger, et des invités exceptionnels venus de la danse, de la musique et du théâtre, plus question de parler de pièce chorégraphique ou même de concert de musique et de danse… A la marge d’une écriture chorégraphique, Nathalie Béasse se singularise également : Happy Child se situe aux confins d’un univers portant les traces d’une théâtralité dans sa volonté de montrer une certaine humanité, tout en insistant sur le travail du corps. Que dire encore de la performance ? Antonio Pedro Lopes et Marianne Baillot la revendique pleinement avec Measure it in Inches, tandis que Fanny de Chaillé, habituée du genre, a imaginé avec Philippe Ramette une « forme spectaculaire » pour Passage à l’acte. Avec Childe, Jesus Sevari préfère parler d’« essai chorégraphique »…
Au-delà des formes, quelle écriture chorégraphique ?
Hors Saison marque cette année le retour en Ile-de-France de Loïc Touzé, qui a su au tout début des années 2000 secouer les cadres et les conventions du spectaculaire. Aujourd’hui, il continue d’inscrire sa réflexion au cœur des enjeux de la danse, notamment ceux que porte l’interprète. La Chance est une pièce pour six danseurs, qu’il propose en parallèle aux duos Fou et Un saut désordonné avec les épaules à la même hauteur que les hanches. A prendre comme un clin d’œil ou une remise à niveau : la conférence de l’universitaire Julie Perrin et de la danseuse Gaëlle Bourges Ça finit toujours à poil / Le corps, Conversation sur la performance, le 18 février à 13h à la Ferme du Buisson.
