Ils sont trois à habiter cet intérieur banal, digne du salon de Monsieur Tout-le-monde. Fauteuils vieillots, table basse, lourd buffet en bois massif… Environnement cosy pour ambiance feutrée, si ces énergumènes ne venaient pas planter leurs petites graines de folie dans chacun des gestes du quotidien. Si l’attente semble être le moteur de leur existence, on découvre leur façon toute personnelle de la pimenter : aussi les voit-on s’adonner à toutes sortes de petits jeux, dont eux seuls connaissent les règles. Une constante émerge tout de même : celle de l’échec ou du ratage, mais dans un rapport inversé à la norme.
Un accident est si vite arrivé
En effet, il y a devant ces sales gosses une certaine jubilation à souhaiter l’échec dans toutes leurs tentatives, à l’attendre et à l’applaudir tant les situations deviennent drôles. Avec leur nonchalance et leur air de ne pas y toucher, les voilà qui transforment l’acrobatie en art de la chute et s’écrasent comme des crêpes, en font de même avec le jonglage et la manipulation d’objets ou de nourriture jusqu’à l’irréversible casse. Mais ne nous y trompons pas : dans chaque geste se nichent une incroyable maîtrise, et un plaisir irrévérencieux à profiter et n’avoir rien d’autre à faire… qu’exister.
