Le printemps du hip-hop vise d’abord à faire découvrir de nouveaux talents au public et aux professionnels par le biais d’un plateau sur lequel quatre jeunes compagnies de Val-de-Marne présentent leurs expérimentations. Ce tremplin s’accompagne des représentations de deux compagnies déjà reconnues. La compagnie Black Blanc Beur continue son travail sur le hip-hop au féminin avec My Tati Freeze. La compagnie Alexandra N’Posse pousse six danseurs à explorer les limites de leur corps, celles qu’on leur impose et celles qu’ils s’infligent eux-mêmes dans NOs LIMITes, réfléchissant ainsi à la notion de liberté. En plus des spectacles, le festival propose des ateliers et un vernissage de graffiti, plusieurs projections du film de Banksy Faites le mur, un concert du groupe Nebil and the nems, et une scène ouverte au slam. Cette édition 2011 du printemps du hip-hop prouve une fois de plus combien le street art et le hip hop constituent des moyens d’expression aux multiples facettes.
