Il s’entoure pour Humanoptère d’une cohorte de jongleurs, parmi laquelle plusieurs générations se croisent. Au cœur de la rencontre ? Le concept de travail qu’il rattache très fortement à l’idée de jonglage, dans le sens d’une tâche sans cesse à reproduire. En liant les deux, il interroge notre propre rapport au travail dans une société productiviste. Jongler plus pour gagner plus, tel serait le raisonnement poussé à l’absurde. Alors, l’artiste renvoie le corps dans ses retranchements, et balaye la notion d’humanité jusqu’à faire émerger un nouveau type d’incarnation. Un travail de fourmi qui se sublime à travers une nouvelle corporéité, objet de sa recherche. Pour que les jongleurs deviennent les humanoptères d’un nouveau genre, dans la virtuosité d’un labeur conjugué à la lenteur d’un engagement extrême.
