Audacieuse, attentive, sa pensée raconte, caracole et interroge. Elle bouscule les évidences et les certitudes, s’aventure au-delà de ce qu’on croit savoir. Femme rabbin, autrice, Delphine Horvilleur écrit pour la première fois un texte destiné à la scène, qui cherche à « nous faire penser » en s’inscrivant contre les obsessions identitaires, les enfermements, les discriminations et les assignations. Pour ce faire, elle a créé le personnage d’Abraham Ajar, fils légitime et fictionnel d’Émile Ajar, lui-même fameux double de Romain Gary, mystification qui valut à l’auteur d’être deux fois récompensé par le Prix Goncourt.
Enfant indéfinissable d’une entourloupe littéraire
Son monologue nous parle aujourd’hui « de politique et de religion, de la force de la littérature ou de la vulnérabilité de nos narcissismes ». Il nous dit qu’on n’est pas « que nous ». Ce texte, Delphine Horvilleur l’a envoyé à la comédienne Johanna Nizard, qui s’est étonné « de l’éclat et de l’irrévérence » des mots, et se plaît à donner corps à cet être intermédiaire, mouvant, indéfinissable. Enfant d’une entourloupe littéraire, il nous apostrophe du fond de son « trou juif », miroir tendu au spectateur sans lignes fixes. Avec humour, lucidité et profondeur.
