Théâtre Paris-Villette / texte de Homère et Alessandro Baricco / mes Luca Giacomoni
« Au centre pénitentiaire de Meaux, j’ai rencontré ces hommes qui par leur visage et leur corps incarnaient à mes yeux les héros et les rois du mythe grec ». C’est ainsi, raconte Luca Giacomini, que naît l’idée de monter avec eux L’Iliade et de la représenter hors les murs de la prison. Un projet épique quand on sait tous les obstacles administratifs qui pouvaient l’entraver. Aujourd’hui certains des détenus sont libres. Les accompagnent des acteurs de métier, une actrice et une chanteuse iranienne. Autour du texte d’Homère revisité par Alessandro Baricco, ils interprètent la légende homérique en dix épisodes, croisant leur vécu du conflit et de la violence avec ces thématiques elles-mêmes fondamentales dans l’Iliade.
