C’est autour de l’œuvre du poète italien Andrea Zanzotto (1921-2011), admiré par Pasolini, Eugenio Montale ou encore Fellini, avec qui il travailla, que Valeria Dafarra et Jean-Charles Pierrisnard ont conçu cette pièce, comme un voyage polyphonique résonnant à travers les voix, le violon et les corps dansants des comédiens. « L’étrangeté du langage, la force évocatrice, la richesse polyphonique, l’humour finement distillé, la puissance sonore et sensuelle de la parole de Andrea Zanzotto nous ont enthousiasmés » confient-ils. Ils cheminent au cœur des recueils Le Galaté au bois, Phosphènes et Météo, passeurs d’une parole vivante ancrée dans la dualité du discours du je et de la nature. La mise en scène suggestive privilégie les contrastes, à travers les voix à la frontière du chant, savamment rythmées, et à travers les corps, dont la chorégraphie s’est nourrie des sensations créées lors de l’exploration des poèmes. Célébrant cette écriture vive, puissante et envoûtante, la pièce stimule l’imaginaire et la créativité du spectateur. Bilingue, elle existe en deux versions, à dominante française ou italienne.
