Centre de musique de chambre de Paris / Salle Cortot / Musique de chambre
Ecrit à 16 ans et dédié à son professeur Eduard Rietz, l’Octuor de Mendelssohn pour double quatuor à cordes témoigne de la précocité de son génie. Fidèles à leur projet de renouveler l’approche du répertoire classique par un biais narratif, Jérôme Pernoo et le Centre de musique de chambre de Paris se servent de la partition du compositeur allemand comme d’un fil conducteur à un concert-spectacle tissant des affinités avec d’autres chefs-d’œuvre de jeunesse, de Mozart à Mahler. Pour faire revivre la musique des Romantiques de manière un peu décalée – avec un clin d’œil amusé que l’on retrouve dans le titre du programme –, la scène de Cortot et les jeunes solistes sont rhabillés aux couleurs de la pré-adolescence d’aujourd’hui, couleurs vives et posters de comics compris. En première partie de soirée, le single est confié au Trio Consonance dans une autre page de Mendelssohn, plus tardive, le Trio n°2, écrit peu après le Concerto pour violon n°2, l’une des pièces les plus célèbres du répertoire.
