C’est un homme ordinaire, et tout son être est emporté par la nécessité vitale de dire haut et fort son extraordinaire colère. Il adresse son cri désespéré à un être imaginaire, et à la face du monde. On ne sait quasiment rien de sa vie, mais on comprend qu’il s’est effondré, que son pays, c’est “la souffrance”. Il s’affirme en géant armé, surpuissant, capable de régler son compte à son interlocuteur. “T’as pas idée de ma force”, menace-t-il. Projection ou fantasme, cet autre qui l’écoute et le regarde est le dépositaire de ses propos, le moteur de la parole. Christophe Laparra affirme son « adhésion artistique, intellectuelle et politique avec le propos de la pièce et avec la forme langagière qu’elle utilise ». Il crée une représentation au plus près de l’humanité de ce personnage trahi, car la puissance qu’il revendique révèle le gouffre de sa fragilité. Le flot de paroles et la rage déversés expriment “l’endroit de sa chute”, la tentative ou le moyen “d’affirmer sa dignité et son intégrité face au monde”.
