« C’est mon dernier été avant la sixième. Et la sixième, tout le monde sait que c’est l’horreur. L’horreur absolue. » À l’heure de l’adieu à la petite enfance, en vacances à Quiberon, Moi s’inquiète terriblement, et ce n’est pas ce que lui raconte Francis, un grand de quatrième, qui va le rassurer… Dans un dispositif simple et ingénieux, trois comédiennes interprètent les enfants – Moi, Francis, et la petite sœur de Moi, âgée de deux ans, qui parle un grommelot débridé et hilarant. Les trois âges expriment trois rapports différents à la langue et à la pensée, et leur confrontation facétieuse enchante. J’ai trop d’amis trace la suite de ce premier opus, et commence pile au moment de la rentrée, avec à nouveau des comédiennes qui interprètent alternativement les rôles, cette fois au nombre de six. Au fil de cette traversée se pose la question de la popularité, des modes et des codes qui accordent tant d’importance aux réseaux sociaux (quel poison quand on s’en sert mal !). Distance, humour, émotions fortes : le théâtre de David Lescot heureusement prend de la hauteur.
