Que de cordes à son arc : le break dance, l’acrobatie et même le mannequinat ! Mais c’est surtout grâce à ses cordes vocales que Jakub Józef Orliński est en train d’imposer son nom. Ce contre-ténor né à Varsovie en 1990 s’est fait remarquer en France grâce aux réseaux sociaux de France Musique en juillet 2017. En plein festival d’Aix-en-Provence, on l’y découvrait en baskets, bermudas et short à carreaux avec son accompagnateur Alphonse Cemin, tout aussi décontracté, ne sachant pas qu’une vidéo de leur prestation serait réalisée. Le chanteur y interprétait un air de Vivaldi : « Vedro con mio diletto ». Un carton : plus de 2,5 millions de vues en un temps record ! À la Salle Gaveau, Jakub Józef Orliński retrouve l’ensemble Il Pomo d’Oro avec qui il vient d’enregistrer son premier CD, Anima sacra, chez Erato. Sous la direction de Francesco Corti, il interprètera le répertoire baroque qu’il connaît bien. Aux côtés d’œuvres de Heinichen, Hasse et Vivaldi (Nisi Dominus) figureront aussi des pièces de Jan Dismas Zlenka, l’un des plus importants compositeurs tchèques de cette période.
