STUDIO DE L’ERMITAGE / JAZZ WORLD
Né en 2000, Jaleo est un laboratoire de voyages musicaux, du jazz au flamenco en passant par l’Inde ou les Gnawas d’Essaouira, animé par le musicien marseillais découvert à la fin des années 80 au sein de Sixun. Dans le troisième album de Jaleo, qui sort aujourd’hui chez Label Bleu, « For Paco », Louis Winsberg (qui joue ici de nombreux autres instruments que la guitare : poud, saz, bouzouki, spakr…) rend hommage à un musicien qui a bouleversé son destin musical : Paco de Lucia. « Je l’ai toujours écouté parce que je fréquentais les gitans et que pour tous les Gitans il est un Dieu. Il a su ouvrir le monde du Flamenco au jazz et à l’improvisation. Il a éclairé ma musique, moi qui viens du jazz et qui cherche ailleurs, quelque part vers « ma Méditerranée »… » confie Louis Winsberg. Avec aussi entre beaucoup d’autres la chanteuse et danseuse Sabrina Romero, étoile magnétique de Jaleo.
